American University's (AU) campus has the official title of arboretum and public garden. The beautiful 84 acre campus has over 100 different types of trees and plants located throughout its quad. 

 

For this assiagnment, each group was tasked with taking photos of the diverse flowers growing in the AU environment. The video below is a compillation of my group's best photographs. We felt these particular flowers captured the essence and the beauty of the campus's lush surroundings. 

This photo was one of my personal favorites from our photo essay montage. The angle, soft (almost angelic-like lighting), and unique shape of the flower itself is not only intruiguing, but also elegant. It is a privilege to have such stunning plants and flowers intertwined within our living and learning space at AU.
