Visual Literacy is a class I took in the Summer of 2014 as part of my general ed requriement at American University. This six week intensive and fast pace course was taught by well-known professor Sarah Menke-Fish, and has by far been one of my favorite classes. As a communications class, the objective of the course was to learn how to read and analyze different forms of digital media. We were then taught how to interpret these images through a critical eye and learn how to appreciate the power of such images. There were multiple individual and group projects which you can view in the subtabs under "Visual Literacy."
